I made a fruit pizza homemade crust that’s both inviting and playful. The soft sugar cookie base melds with a delicate cream cheese topping sweetened with confectioners sugar and vanilla. I layered sliced strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, and raspberries over it, creating a vibrant and irresistible treat. Every bite sparks pure delight.
Hey everyone, I’m excited to share one of my all-time favorites – a Best Fruit Pizza that totally elevates dessert time. I’ve been playing around with a sugar cookie crust made with 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 large egg and a dash of vanilla extract, and let me tell you, it’s a game changer.
I whip up a cream cheese topping using 4 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, a splash of vanilla extract and 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk to get that perfect spreadable consistency. Then, you top it off with a medley of sliced strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, raspberries and even a few grapes if you’re up for it.
This whole creation is one of those dessert pizzas from scratch that not only looks amazing but tastes even better. Give it a try and prepare to be amazed by a fruit tart with a sugar cookie crust that’s both fun and easy to make.
Why I Like this Recipe
1. I love how the cookie crust comes out soft but still a bit crunchy, it gives the pizza a really unique texture that i just can’t get enough of.

3. I really dig how colorful the whole thing looks – it always makes me feel like i’m treating myself even on a busy day.
4. I also like that its not too hard to put together, so even when i’m in a rush i can still whip up this tasty dessert.

FAQ
Best Fruit Pizza (Recipe & Video) Substitutions and Variations
- Sugar Cookie Crust: If you dont have unsalted butter, try using margarine or coconut oil instead
- Sugar Cookie Crust: You can substitute granulated sugar with brown sugar or even coconut sugar if you have it
- Sugar Cookie Crust: Instead of an egg, mix 1 tablespoon of flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water to make a flax egg for vegan options
- Cream Cheese Topping: If cream cheese is hard to find, mascarpone cheese or full-fat Greek yogurt works pretty well as a replacement
- Fruit Topping: Feel free to switch up the fresh fruits with seasonal choices like mango or pineapple when strawberries and kiwis arent available
Pro Tips
1. Make sure all your ingredients like the butter, egg, and cream cheese are at room temperature so they mix better and you dont get crunchy bits in your dough or topping.
2. Dont overwork the dough when you’re mixing in the flour cause it can turn your crust tough after baking, try to mix just enough until its combined.
3. Let the sugar cookie crust cool completely before you spread the cream cheese on it. If its too warm, the cream cheese might melt and mix with the crust weirdly.
4. When you slice up the fruits, be careful not to cut them too small so they dont turn into a mushy mess on the pizza. Experiment with different arrangements so you get a good balance of colors and flavors.
